Word from Janine

I was praying the other day about the upcoming holiday season and asking God: Lord, what would you like to do? I saw Jesus standing with open arms and a sadness was over Him. I felt Him saying: “Tell them of My love for them.” I started thinking and praying about what would describe His love for us best. I thought of the movie “Titanic” which most of us have seen I am sure! And I thought of how in love Jack was with Rose. He could not take His eyes off her. They were so in love with each other and tried to spend every possible moment together. In the same way Jesus is so in love with us! He is jealous for us! He wants to spend every moment with us. And He longs for a bride who will love Him back. Why does Jesus love us as much? One reason (amongst many others) is definitely that He LOOKS and SEES deep into our hearts. I asked God: What do we miss, why is the bride not loving you back as you so desperately desire? And I feel clearly on my heart: They do not LOOK for me, so they do not SEE Me. If we could see Jesus for Who He really is, we would be so in love with Him.

In this Holiday season…. May we CHOOSE to make Jesus a part of it, may we LOOK to Him (and never stop) and through that SEE His beautiful and loving heart towards us. May we be so taken up by His love and be in such awe of Him that we would want to spend every possible moment with Him.

Today Jesus is saying to us:

“See! The winter is past;
the rains are over and gone.
12 Flowers appear on the earth;
the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves
is heard in our land.
13 The fig tree forms its early fruit;
the blossoming vines spread their fragrance.
Arise, come, my darling;
my beautiful one, come with me.”

Word from Jenny Morkel:

God has been laying some things on my heart and they keep bubbling over when
I am with certain people and I feel that He wants me to share this with you
for I sense it applies to a lot of people espically those who have been
through a long testing season. Some I even sense are like Sarah and want to
laugh at what He is saying cause its as though they have lost hope that
things will ever change or can change.
Change is coming. — Guard your mind, it’s important. Make a decision to
only think on what’s good, true of a good report Phil 4:8
I give you life , I give you new life,
I give you hope ,a brand new future.
No eye has seen, no ear has heard ,
What the Lord can do ,
What He’s prepared for you
Some of what you do know,
What has been shown you,
I’d have you think on them
for they are true says the Lord.
Eph 2:10 we will walk in what God has prepared beforehand for us to walk in
No weapon formed against you will prosper,
I am your defense says the Lord.
I am your Redeemer, I will bring about things and
make things the way they should of been,
I’ve come to redeem you .
Walk boldly, walk confidently , you will not be ashamed,
I come with healing , healing to your minds,
right thinking will produce right behavior
I am your Mighty One who will not fail you
I will show you the way

In the gospel of John, Jesus came walking on the stormy waters, and the disciples where afraid. But when Jesus identified Himself, they willingly let him into the boat. As He stepped into the boat, they found themselves immediately at their destination. (John 6:19-21)

Last night at our meeting, the Lord asked us to open our hearts to allow Him to come in. Let Him into your boat (Your world), He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. All your answers in in Him. You will find yourself at your destination if you really allow Him in.

Remember, He stand at the door of the believers and knocks!

You might not recognise Him in your circumstances, but allow I AM into your life, and He will set you free.

If you missed last night teaching, you can download it from this website. “How to overcome the enemies strategies.”

Word from Janine – “Although the fig tree shall not blossom…”
25 October 2013
Tuesday evening before our weekly ministry meeting, me and Hein were praying for the meeting. God showed me something which He pressed on my heart this morning to share with everyone.
I saw a picture of Jesus and His ascension (Luke 24:50-53). As He was taken up He left His cloak behind and I thought of Elijah and Elisha and when Elijah was taken up and left his cloak behind (2Kings2:8-13). I felt Jesus left it for us to pick up and put on. The cloak looked like it was made of a thick, brown material (what looks like something a homeless or poor person in that day would be wearing) but in between the fabric was weaved very small diamonds. The cloak also had a golden shimmer. The diamonds and gold spoke to me of royalty and beauty and worth. His royalty, His beauty, His worth. The brown fabric spoke to me of Jesus’ life on earth. A life of humbleness, love, humility and self sacrifice. And this cloak He left behind for us to put on and to walk in – knowing that when the world hates us that it hated Him first (John15:18). To live with Him, through Him and in Him.
I was reminded of a picture He once showed me during communion. I remember thinking, while eating the bread, that I have never tasted such dry bread and could hardly swallow it. It almost choked me. The next moment I saw Jesus walking out in front of me in a dessert, turning around and holding out His hand to me. He impressed on my heart the question: If the wine turns sour and the bread dry, will you still follow Me?
Hab 3:17-19 “Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.”

19 October 2013

During prayer yesterday I received this word for someone and I felt God say to me that this is also a word in season for every believer. So if you have been feeling like your bones are dried out – very dry, or that your hope is gone, or that you feel cut off, the following scripture is being prophesied over you. That you and everyone around you will know that Jesus is Lord!

Ezekiel 37:1-14

The Valley of Dry Bones

37 The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2 He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. 3 He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”

I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.”

4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of theLord! 5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath[a] enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.

9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.

11 Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’ 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. 13 Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. 14 I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.’”

Today Jesus is saying:

John 6:50-58

50 But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die. 51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”52 Then the Jews began to argue sharply among themselves, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”53 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them. 57 Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. 58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”

So eat the real food and drink the real drink – Jesus. He is the living bread that came down from heaven. So that you may LIVE because of Him!

Word from Hein

17 October 2013

On Tuesday morning I asked the Lord what He wants to say to His people. I saw His face in the clouds and he said: “Faith” Meaning, it is a season in which we need to stand in faith that God is working all things for the good i.e. “Have faith in Me”

I noticed that it was thunder clouds, which produces pressure in the atmosphere. But there is an expectation of rain, and when it is over, the Sun will appear again.

In seasons like this, our flesh is weak, but your spirit is willing. The disciples fell asleep in Jesus hour, but He calls us to watch and pray lest we get tempted.

This is what the Greek lexicon says about the word ‘ready’ in Mark 14:38  “Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.”

The word is made up of two parts:

before or above

wrath, fierceness or indignation
1) Passion, angry, heat, anger forthwith boiling up and soon subsiding again
2) Glow, ardour, the wine of passion, inflaming wine (which either drives the drinker mad or kills him with its strength)

The Holy Spirit is ready to go before and above you like the pillar of cloud and fire that was with the Israelites in the desert. His anger, heat will cause your enemies, the demons, to flee in seven ways. (Deut 28:7)

He will glow in you, manifesting Jesus. (John 14:21) He will comfort and love you, and cause you to ardour God. He will enflame you with passion, like wine so you will rise up with boldness and spread the good news of God with you.

So don’t “fall asleep”, stir the Spirit in you, and He will lead you away from temptation and into great victory.

So stand strong in your storm, or if you’re happy, pray for those who are being tested.

Street Ministry – written by Hein:

7 October 2013

Hi guys, our Monday morning outreach team has shrunk due to work or mission opportunities (praise God for it). However Janine and I witness to the hunger and thirst of the Cape Town people for the Love and Power of Jesus. Therefore we are going to continue even if it is just the two of us.

How can you get involved?

Whatever the case may be, try to get involved. It is really life changing.

Surrender and Worship – 2 mighty tools in Gods hands!

A while ago God lay something on my heart and since then I kept feeling to write this down and share. A couple of weeks ago I did share it at one of our meetings after Hein’s teaching and you will find the audio recording on our website www.faithministries.org.za .

God spoke to me through the “Pineapple Story” by Otto Koning (a powerful testimony by a missionary from Nieu Guinea which can be viewed on Youtube. Also see the Snake story – a follow up on the Pineapple Story). I have watched it multiple times before but this time it was as if He was pressing it strongly on my heart. A word for the season. Or more like a “wake-up call”.

Right before watching the Pineapple Story God had already been speaking to me about surrendering all. During prayer one morning I saw a key while praying into this topic and I felt God was saying “Surrendering is giving God the key to your life.”

We as Christians sing the old famous song “I surrender all…” on Sundays but when we get back to work on Mondays and to the “real life” then we do our jobs to the best of OUR abilities and we make decisions based on what the WORLD has teached us for example: which car to buy, how to save money/petrol, the best medical aid, the best hospital/doctor, the best school for my kids, which clothes to wear today, using my Saturday to do as much good deeds as possible or doing none at all…etc etc etc! And what does God say about this? Do we ever pray or consult Him on these matters? He is interested in: your relationship with Him, your obedience and you being totally surrendered in EVERYTHING! His seven Names are: God my Shepherd, Provider, Healer, Peace, Banner, Righteousness, Holiness and God all around me – my victory! Psalm 23 describes all seven these Names and it all starts by entering His rest – spending time with Him. If you do not surrender your everything then He is not able to be all these things in your life. The result? Well you end up believing that God never comes through for you or He does not hear you and your Christianity becomes purely religion and no relationship.

John 8:28b,29 “…and that I do nothing on My own but speak just what the Father has taught Me. The One who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone for I always do what pleases him.”

James 4:7,10 “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

Luke 14:33 “In the same way therefore not one of you can be My disciple if he does not renounce all his possessions.”

Give Him your car, your house, your finances, your children, your decisions, etc. He is more than capable to handle it. Face it: Your best decisions, your best efforts, your best…is NOT ENOUGH! HE is! His best decisions, His best efforts, His best … through you! Living a totally surrendered life in Christ and trusting Him in all.

Now you say, well this is a process and it will take a while to totally surrender. You know what works? Just DO IT! And when you fall or fail, get up and DO IT again. Surrender and allow Jesus to truly be King over your life. You will not be disappointed!

Examples to read when in doubt (which God pressed on my heart to share):

The second (and not least) important thing is Worship!

There is so much power in Worship. Especially in the times where you don’t feel like it at all.

From the book: The Call

Written by: Rick Joyner (one of the prophetic experiences he had.)

Then I was in a different place, beholding a worship service in a little church building. As sometimes happens in a prophetic experience, I just seemed to know everything about everyone in the battered little room. All were experiencing severe trials in their lives, but they were not even thinking of them here. They were not praying about their needs. They were all trying to compose songs of thanksgiving to the Lord. They were happy, and their joy was sincere.I saw heaven, and all of heaven was weeping. I then saw the Father again and knew why heaven was weeping. They were weeping because of the tears in the eyes of the Father. This little group of seemingly beaten down, struggling people had moved God so deeply that He wept. They were not tears of pain, but of joy. When I saw the love that He felt for these few worshipers, I could not contain my tears.Nothing I had experienced gripped me more than this scene. Worshiping the Lord on earth was now more desirable to me than dwelling in all the glory of heaven. I knew that I had been given a message that could help prepare the saints for the battles that remained on earth, but now this did not mean nearly as much to me as trying to convey how we could touch the Father. Genuine adoration expressed by even the most humble believer on earth could cause all of heaven to rejoice, but even more than that, it touches the Father. This is why the angels would rather be given charge over a single believer on the earth than to be given authority over many galaxies of stars.I saw Jesus standing next to the Father. Beholding the joy of the Father as He watched the little prayer meeting, He turned to me and said, “This is why I went to the cross. Giving My Father joy for just one moment would have been worth it all. Your worship can cause Him joy every day. Your worship when you are in the midst of difficulties touches Him even more than all the worship of heaven. Here, where His glory is seen, the angels cannot help but to worship. When you worship without seeing His glory in the midst of your trials, that is worhip in Spirit and in truth. The Father seeks such to be His worshippers. Do not waste your trials. Worship the Fahter, not for what you will receive, but to bring Him joy. You will never be stronger than when you bring Him joy, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Exodus 17:8-16 is another scripture that the God lay on my heart regarding worship.

May the song of our hearts be such as the excerpts of the following songs written by Passion Worship Band:

“I hear the sound of an army waking, I feel the ground under my feet shaking, Let justice roll like a river, I shout for Your Kingdom come, I shout and the walls fall down, Our God be praised, I shout to the ends of the earth, I shout till You return, Our God be praised!”

“I know Who goes before me, I know Who stands behind, The God of angel armies is always by my side, The One who reigns forever, He is a Friend of mine, The God of angel armies is always by my side!”

Word from Hein:

3 October 2013

The Lord showed me a picture of a cocoon this morning in our weekly prayer meeting in town. I immediately understood what He ment. You cannot see into the future at all, and you feel cocooned into your situation. Then He showed me what we will look like after we break out of it. We were full of light (power, strength, energy, understanding etc).

I’m also seeing how some people are in the process of breaking out of their cocoons, into new life. Soon the old will be gone, all things will be new.

I don’t know how you are feeling, but if you can relate to this picture, then know that everything pertaining life and godliness is in you. Like the heat in the cocoon translates the worm into a butterfly, your meditation on God’s love for you, in you, will cause His power to break you out of the old into the new man which is in Christ Jesus.

Believe that God will work all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. (Rom 8:28) Stand on it, meditate on His Power and Light, and see how His Spirit will break you out of this seemingly negative situation you’re facing.

Word from Lisa Kruyt (Gods freedom through our Praise and Worship)

19 September 2013

During this weeks meeting, whilst we were praising and worshiping along with the dvd, I felt an excitement rise up in my spirit. Then the Lord started speaking to me & I heard Him say, ‘I want more freedom for my people’.
I sensed it so strongly that I wanted to express this freedom by dancing before Him and calling others to join in & dance before Him. Although I was happily praising God & shuffling my feet along with the music, I was aware that I wasn’t freely dancing before Him with all of my being. God was talking to me whilst I was contemplating this & I was immediately reminded of the following songs; “In Him we live & move and have our being & Dance before the Lord, tell Him of your love etc…..

Then we went into worship & I sensed God saying to me, “I’m fine with you dancing before Me, Hein will be fine with it, other people may or may not be, but that doesn’t matter!” The question, God was challenging me with & I believe all of us individually is, are YOU fine with it?

Are we fine with dancing & being completely free to express
our praises & worship with all of our being before Him? For that’s what releases His freedom in us! He wants to impart & release more of that freedom into us. In Him we have complete freedom!

He wants us to join in the ‘party’ & to come into the inside, a more intimate place with Him. He doesn’t need spectators, you don’t need to be an outsider, He’s calling us into to a deeper unity with Him & with each other as believers. Him in us & us in Him! He wants us in on the action & to be having fun with Him & knowing Him more & more every time we come before Him.

Ask yourselves, are we praising & worshiping Him with ALL that is within us? Can we sense His very breathe of life & the words being sung over us? The words that we sing along to praise and worship are a life giving force & not merely melodies. He is the reason that we sing & He is worthy to be celebrated from all that is within us!

It doesn’t matter how we express our praise & worship, whether we sit, stand, lie face down, dance or twirl around in circles. What matters is the freedom being released through us & to us. He’s already paid for our freedom, so the choice to all of us, is, ‘How much of His freedom do we want to taste in our own lives?

To be free to…live and move and have our being in Him….so that the world may come to know & taste of Him and His goodness!!

God’s celebrates us, His word says He spins over us with joy!!! Come let’s celebrate Him, I believe He’s calling all of us to praise & worship Him more than ever before…for it holds the keys of our victory in Him!

Word from Janine (Going into Gods Peace)

4 September 2013

During prayer two days ago, God showed me the beginning of a new season. A Psalm 23 season! I heard words like refreshing, restoring, renewal. The feeling that goes with it is almost like the fresh feeling that goes with drinking a ice cold smoothie on a warm summers day – just even more fresher than that. I felt this particular Psalm is very important in this new season and each verse follows on the next. You need to realise and understand that “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing” in order to be taken “to lush pastures” and led “to refreshing water” and only there where you are at peace and in his rest – relaxing and lying down on the lush pastures and drinking from the refreshing water will He be able to “restore your strength” and to “lead you down the right paths…” etc. The same goes for each verse of this well known Psalm. The emphasis being that He needs us in a place of rest and peace (IN HIM!) to be able to impart/heal/deliver/equip us. This being no light command but a urgent and important word from the Lord. I really sensed the urgency is in becoming still before the King and spending quality time with Him. Time of praise and worship and focusing on who He is.
Each morning we can easily fall into the repeating habit of quickly praying  for our families and work and children and  and and… but right now God is more interested in you spending time with HIM and Who He is to you and worshipping Him. In this “His gently Majesty will wash into you” and as I say this I see something like a thick red cloud being dropped into us. And if we do not go into this rest with Him we will surely miss what He wants to impart or give.
For Jesus it is important for you to have more time with Him than for you to have time for your “things”/daily responsibilities. I read a book that described this beautifully and which the Lord highlighted for me to share with you: Time with Jesus is like a garden with beautiful flowers. Time for your “things” is like a dry, open field filled with stubble. The following scripture was also highlighted to me:
Rev.2:4 “But I have this against you: You have departed from your first love!”
Enter into His rest today even if you only have a couple of minutes available. Worship Him for who He is and allow Him to impart into you and love you the way He so strongly desires. Enter into His peace – there where the world cannot touch you. Believe only what He tells you about yourself, receive His equipment for your day. Return to Him. Love Him. You were created for Him. He loves you so much.

Word (vision) from Janine:

18 August 2013

Friday morning during worship in my quiet time, I saw a picture. It was of a tree in a open field at night time. And under the tree I saw a man standing. I immediately knew that it was Jacob. Then I saw Jesus standing next to him and I had a knowing in my heart that what I was seeing was the wrestle Jacob had with God (Gen. 32:22)the night before meeting up with Esau. Then as I was praying I heard Jesus saying to me: “I was holding his hand – I was with him every step of the way.” Jacob wrestled that night with God for his blessing and when daybreak came not stopping until he received his blessing – and because of this he became Israel! I felt Jesus clearly highlight to me “Jacob became Israel”. Israel meaning: He who struggles with man and God and overcomes.

I felt God lay on my heart clearly – when in need of His blessing for example in financial breakthrough, physical healing needed, etc. – ask God for scripture or word about your circumstance and speak that word over and over until you receive what He promised. How badly do you want it? Do not stop. Do not allow the enemy to attack you with hopelessness or impatience because he will. God wants us to be a generation that takes His Word and runs with it, a generation that doesn’t look back but rather one that keeps speaking over ourselves: “My God said… or It is written…!!” Then be a Jacob that, even when daybreak comes, sais: “I will not let You go unless you bless me”. So that God may say of you: “Your name will no longer be …., but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with human beings and have overcome.”

I asked Jesus, and what about Jacobs hip that was put out of socket? And I felt Jesus showed me the cross. He has taken that upon Himself. All that’s left for us to do now is CALL IN the promises of God over our lives without stopping UNTIL they manifest!

Ephesians 6:18 “With every prayer and petition, pray at all times in the Spirit, and to this end be alert, with all perseverance and requests for all the saints.”

Hebrews 6:11-12 “But we passionately want each of you to demonstrate the same eagerness for the fulfilment of your hope until the end, so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and perseverance inherit the promises.”

While praying for a friend, God gave me the scripture for him that sais – when you feel weak you may approach the throne with boldness and receive mercy and grace… (Heb.4:14-16). And while I was praying this over him, I saw a picture of him walking up to the throne and kneeling to receive but in stead of opening his hands to receive, he was holding out his fists towards God as if he could not control his hands. He was looking at his fists and then to God – showing God these fists of his that does not want to open and receive. I felt God interpret this picture to me saying that we may come to His throne with boldness to receive but in some areas of our lives we are so used to fighting for ourselves that we cannot receive the good things He has planned for us or even the necessary ‘equipment’ we need for the specific season we are in. I felt strongly on my heart to share this. God Worship Band:
